Deliver high-quality care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist working in a fast-paced hospital environment. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you’ll use your expertise to support patients with respiratory conditions, focusing on excellent clinical delivery during overnight shifts.

Schedule:

  • 7:00pm – 7:30am
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy modalities, ventilator management, and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapies, and other therapeutic interventions according to physician orders
  • Operate, monitor, and assess ventilator-dependent patients, making appropriate adjustments as indicated
  • Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses
  • Respond efficiently to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls as part of the critical care team
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and respiratory care techniques
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
