Seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support patient care for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working nights and have significant experience in critical care and neonatal intensive care environments.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Night shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Active New York State (NYS) license in good standing
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in critical care and NICU settings
  • Proficiency utilizing V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett ventilators
  • Prior experience with EPIC charting systems
  • Willingness and ability to participate in external patient transports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
  • Assess, evaluate, and document respiratory care according to established protocols
  • Operate advanced ventilatory support equipment including V60 BiPAP and 980 Puritan Bennett units
  • Accurately maintain records in the EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Safely manage and support patients during internal and external transports
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes in critical care and NICU environments
