Key Qualifications:

• Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current, active license as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligibility to obtain in the area)
• Experience in patient assessment, ventilator management, and administering therapeutic procedures
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patient respiratory needs and conditions
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as ventilators and monitors
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary in consultation with physicians
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care procedures and disease management
• Accurately document all interventions, progress, and patient responses in medical records
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times
