Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift
  • On-call responsibilities as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification required
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical exemption
  • Solid understanding of respiratory therapy modalities, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective respiratory therapy interventions for patients with varying acuity levels
  • Perform assessments, interpret test results, and recommend care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health staff
  • Administer oxygen, inhaled medications, and manage ventilator support according to physician orders
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as clinically indicated
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols and at-home management techniques as needed
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and strictly adhere to hospital policies and protocols
