Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Active BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications are a plus
- Experience with ventilator management, airway care, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to accurately document and communicate patient assessments and responses to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans for patients of all ages
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Conduct diagnostic tests and evaluate results to help develop treatment strategies
- Perform routine and emergency respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and at-home management
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided in accordance with regulatory standards
