Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications are a plus
  • Experience with ventilator management, airway care, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Ability to accurately document and communicate patient assessments and responses to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans for patients of all ages
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and evaluate results to help develop treatment strategies
  • Perform routine and emergency respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and at-home management
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided in accordance with regulatory standards
