Qualifications:

• Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid and active respiratory therapy license required
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, ventilator management, and life support systems
• Must possess excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting highly preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory care assessments, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway management
• Monitor patient conditions and response to therapy; document observations and adjustments to the plan of care as needed
• Set up and manage various types of respiratory equipment, including ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP devices
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory disease management and equipment use
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient care

$2,116 - $2,230/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
