Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in respiratory therapy
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP necessary for NICU involvement
- Experience in tertiary or teaching hospital and level 1 trauma preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload in acute and critical care settings, with flexibility to float to NICU/PICU and ED units
- Familiarity with a wide range of ventilation equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, and Respironics V30/V60

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care services across variable patient assignments, supporting critical, acute, and pediatric care units
- Collaborate with a team of respiratory therapists to maintain patient care standards
- Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment efficiently
- Respond to on-call situations within 2 hours to support patient care needs
- Utilize EPIC EMR systems for patient documentation and care coordination
Schedule:
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirement: Yes, 2 hours notice for shift coverage
Additional Role Details:
- Multiple openings available
- 26 weeks preferred travel assignment
- Position supports expansion with the opening of additional ICU and IMC units
- Scrubs provided or flexible attire policy
