Seize daily opportunities to hone your skills in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma, tertiary teaching hospital. You’ll engage with a broad spectrum of patient populations, from pediatrics in NICU/PICU settings to adults in critical and acute care, supporting your continued learning alongside top practitioners from across the country. Contribute to the opening of new surgical and IMC units, expanding your clinical experience and leadership capacity.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • 26-week assignment preferred
  • Weekend and on-call rotation required
  • Multiple openings for immediate start

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of experience in an acute care hospital
  • Experience in tertiary, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma environment
  • Experience with adults and pediatrics (including NICU/PICU, acute care peds, and ED)
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse respiratory patients throughout the entire facility (team of 14–16 providers)
  • Float across various units, adapting to changing daily needs and patient volumes
  • Operate advanced equipment: Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Trilogy, Airvo, Vapotherm, and more
  • Chart in EPIC EMR
