Deliver advanced respiratory care in a dynamic hospital setting recognized for its trauma and neonatal intensive care services. This contract opportunity seeks Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) or experienced Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRTs) with specialty experience to provide top-notch support across adult, neonatal, and critical care departments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using up-to-date technology to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Shift options: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Voluntary on-call opportunities
  • Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday per policy
  • Up to 7 days off approved excluding blackout dates

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist strongly preferred; CRTs considered with at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience
  • Experience within a Level III NICU in the past 12 months required for NICU assignments
  • BLS and NRP certifications mandatory for NICU roles; ACLS/APLS preferred
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR, Omnicell medication dispensing, and advanced ventilator models such as PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, and Airvo
  • Prior experience with general/critical care respiratory therapy for adults; NICU therapists should also bring expertise in ground transport and Nitric Oxide administration
  • Adaptability to float among units, including shifts between NICU and adult care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory therapy across specialty units, including adult critical care, neonatal, and trauma
  • Participate in ground transport and advanced therapies for NICU patients as required
  • Document accurately within Cerner EMR and ensure proper medication administration using Omnicell
  • Collaborate effectively within clinical teams and adapt to varying patient ratios and unit demands
  • Follow facility policies on dress code, scheduling, and orientation

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
