Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
  • Proven experience working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for acute and chronic respiratory disorders
  • Proficiency in operating ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and performing arterial blood gas analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Schedule:

  • Contract-based position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, and mechanical ventilation
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, such as pulmonary function tests and ABGs
  • Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions and equipment use
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatments
