Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Valid state licensure in Respiratory Care
• Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
• Ability to operate respiratory therapy equipment and interpret results accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosolized medications, and ventilator management as prescribed
• Monitor patient response, adjust ventilator settings, and conduct respiratory assessments
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, therapies, and patient progress in compliance with hospital policies
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response team activations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff to achieve positive patient outcomes
