Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Rocky Mount, NC

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Active Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, or NRP a plus)
• Previous experience with adult and pediatric patient populations preferred
• Expertise with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
• Utilize advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory conditions and treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately
• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response codes, as required
