Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Saint Anthony, North Dakota

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification (RRT or CRT) in good standing
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering respiratory care in acute or subacute clinical settings
• Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment
• Experience with ventilator management and various oxygen delivery modalities
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation abilities
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway management
• Conduct diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjusting care plans as needed
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory treatments and equipment
• Liaise with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and patient progress
