Registered Respiratory Therapist in Saint Paul, MN

In this essential role, you will provide advanced respiratory care to children, requiring flexibility and expertise while working across three affiliated facilities. Schedule:

• Full-time equivalent: 1.2 FTE
• Rotating shifts: 3 days, 3 nights per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call hours
• Assignment duration: 25 weeks
• Start date: 10/19/26

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist with the State of Minnesota
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Pediatric care experience is mandatory
• Willingness to float between three local hospital sites
• Professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based respiratory care to a pediatric population
• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory interventions as directed by medical and nursing staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and respond promptly to emergencies
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
