Key Qualifications:

• Active Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Proficient in ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary therapeutics
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
• Excellent assessment, communication, and patient-focused care skills
• Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly valued

Schedule Details:

• Contract-based assignment; potential for extension

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders according to physician direction and established protocols
• Administer oxygen, aerosol, and various respiratory treatments
• Operate, adjust, and monitor life-support ventilators and associated equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, interpret results, and report critical findings
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care plans and home therapies as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and modify treatment approaches
• Document all therapeutic interventions and patient responses in clinical records
