You’ll be part of a highly respected tertiary and teaching hospital, expanding your clinical expertise in one of the largest critical care teams in the state. Take part in the launch of a third Surgical ICU and expanded IMC units, offering new learning environments and exposure to innovative approaches. Professional growth is amplified by working alongside expert respiratory teams and collaborating on advanced patient care in both adult and pediatric settings.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7PM-7:30AM), or day shifts available (7AM-7:30PM)
- 36 hours weekly guaranteed
- Weekend and float requirements apply
- On-call responsibilities: 2 hours for the oncoming shift
- 26-week assignments preferred
- Multiple openings
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum 3 years’ experience
- Background in tertiary, teaching hospital settings; Level 1 trauma experience
- Experience floating to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute/critical care
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP (for NICU) preferred
- Flexible, collaborative communicator
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care for a variety of patient populations on a team of 14–16 RRTs
- Utilize advanced ventilation equipment (Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy, Airvo, Vapotherm)
- Thoroughly document in EPIC EMR
- Support critical initiatives in new and expanded units
