This opportunity provides exposure to a dynamic tertiary, teaching environment with level-1 trauma services and ongoing innovation. You’ll collaborate within a large team of experienced RRTs and interface with various units, including the new Surgical ICU and expanded IMC units, building both clinical and leadership skills.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12-hour night shifts (7PM-7:30AM)
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Weekend and call requirements included
  • 26-week assignment (preferred)
  • Multiple openings available

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
  • Minimum 3 years’ recent acute-care experience, preferably in a high-complexity hospital or trauma center
  • BLS certification; ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU support
  • Competency across all patient populations: NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, adult acute and critical care, and emergency department
  • Experience using Drager, Hamilton, and Respironics ventilators, Trilogy, Airvo, Vapotherm, and EPIC EMR
  • Flexibility, strong teamwork and communication skills are essential

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy across medical, surgical, and critical care units
  • Independently manage advanced mechanical ventilation, high-flow therapy, and specialized devices
  • Float between NICU/PICU, IMC, ED, and adult critical care areas as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture
