Travel respiratory therapists are welcomed for multiple night shift openings (3x12s, 7PM-7:30AM) across newly expanded ICUs and IMC units, with a preferred 26-week contract. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, covering an innovative facility that values flexibility, advanced communication, and a commitment to excellence. This assignment is ideal for someone eager to broaden their expertise in tertiary, teaching hospital environments, including specialized pediatric and trauma care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 night shifts (7PM-7:30AM)
  • 36 hours guaranteed weekly
  • Weekend coverage as required
  • Call: 2 hours prior to the oncoming shift

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital; Level 1 trauma experience required
  • BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU
  • Proficiency in ventilator management (Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respionics V30/V60, and others)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Ability to float to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, adult acute/critical care, and ED
  • Strong team player, adaptable, excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage ventilator support for acute and critical patients across all age ranges
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
  • Float as needed to support various units, including NICU/PICU and adult ICUs
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
