Deliver high-quality respiratory care within a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key contributor, you will support the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders throughout a 13-week engagement.

Schedule:

  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
  • Day shift: 7:00am – 7:30pm
  • Specific days will be determined during the interview process

Key Qualifications:

  • Active registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative setting
  • Dedication to consistently high standards of patient care and safety

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans
  • Administer treatments and therapies related to respiratory care, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members on comprehensive treatment planning
  • Monitor patient responses and adapt care plans as necessary
  • Perform pulmonary function tests and document findings in accordance with facility protocols
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
