Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Proven clinical experience in respiratory therapy settings
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in administering respiratory treatments, therapies, and ventilator management
• Familiarity with the latest respiratory care protocols and equipment
• Excellent communication skills with multidisciplinary care teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and administer respiratory care treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators
• Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on patient care plans
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results to ensure effective treatment
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, providing rapid intervention and support
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to facility policies and state regulations
