Registered Respiratory Therapist in Strongsville, OH

This contract opportunity offers the chance to support individuals with diverse respiratory conditions, from acute to chronic, in a forward-thinking setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Nights: 7:00pm – 7:30am
• 32 hours per week
• Includes weekend and holiday coverage

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current state licensure in good standing
• Demonstrated expertise in respiratory therapy across a range of healthcare settings
• Proficiency with respiratory care equipment such as ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP devices, and nebulizers
• Strong clinical judgment and capacity to handle urgent situations efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapy interventions for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting care plans as needed
• Manage advanced airway equipment, administer oxygen, inhaled medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and therapies
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately and timely in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate optimal patient care
• Uphold infection control protocols and safety measures at all times
