Registered Respiratory Therapist in Sylvania, OH

Desired Qualifications:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Valid respiratory care practitioner license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care therapies in accordance with physician orders and patient needs
• Monitor, document, and adjust patient ventilatory support and other respiratory treatments
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness
• Respond rapidly and effectively to respiratory emergencies and code situations
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes
