Qualifications:

  • Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

  • Solid assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient treatment, ventilator parameters, and responses to therapy
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough charting of all clinical activities
