Seeking an experienced professional with expertise as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver exceptional care in a supportive healthcare setting. Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
- Active state licensure for practicing respiratory care
- Competency in performing respiratory therapy procedures, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior hospital or clinical experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to adapt to patient needs and maintain detailed documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective respiratory care and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status and responses to therapy
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and self-care techniques
- Participate actively in rapid response and code situations
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety procedures
