Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory therapy modalities, including but not limited to ventilation management, airway care, and pulmonary function testing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with both adult and pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills within a clinical environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and carry out respiratory care interventions for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary disorders
• Implement and monitor appropriate respiratory therapies including oxygen administration, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatments, and home care instructions as needed
• Maintain equipment and ensure all safety and infection control protocols are observed
