Schedule:
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Three 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Active California Respiratory Therapist license required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Recent proof of negative TB test (within the past 12 months)
- Strong clinical assessment, patient management, and ventilator skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based respiratory care to patients across all age groups
- Initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation and other respiratory support modalities
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
- Accurately document interventions and patient responses in the medical record
