This contract opportunity offers a chance to use your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic clinical environment, supporting patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications:

  • Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
  • Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months
  • Experience in acute clinical settings preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and deliver respiratory care interventions according to physician orders
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and advanced airway management
  • Conduct diagnostic respiratory procedures including pulmonary function testing and ABG sampling
  • Accurately document treatments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other care team members to optimize respiratory therapy plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care strategies as needed
