Schedule:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
- Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
- Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months
- Experience in acute clinical settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and deliver respiratory care interventions according to physician orders
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and advanced airway management
- Conduct diagnostic respiratory procedures including pulmonary function testing and ABG sampling
- Accurately document treatments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other care team members to optimize respiratory therapy plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care strategies as needed
