Qualifications and Experience:

• Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience with a broad range of respiratory therapies and interventions
• Proficient in performing assessments, monitoring vital signs, and administering respiratory treatments
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with medical teams and patients
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory disorders or conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including arterial blood gases, ventilator management, and aerosol treatments
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans, equipment usage, and self-management
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
• Respond to emergency situations and provide advanced respiratory care interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and functioning according to safety standards
