Qualifications:

• Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist

• Solid understanding of respiratory equipment, procedures, and clinical best practices
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Assess patient condition and make appropriate modifications to therapy under physician direction
• Monitor and document patient responses, including vital signs and progress
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene
• Provide education to patients and families about respiratory health and equipment usage
