Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists and Registered Respiratory Therapists eager to make a difference in patient care. Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shift position
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Contract duration: 4-5 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Rhode Island (RI)
  • Proven clinical experience in respiratory therapy, preferably within hospital settings
  • Strong understanding of respiratory care modalities, equipment, and treatment protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, providing care across multiple acuity levels
  • Professional attitude for working independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to patients
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document treatments, progress, and patient responses accurately according to facility guidelines
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
