Step into an impactful role where your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist is key to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic hospital environment. This 13-week contract assignment offers the chance to work alongside skilled professionals, supporting patients in adult ICUs and emergency departments, including level 1 trauma care.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (Days)

Qualifications:

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT or CRT)
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of experience performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with or perform bronchoscopy procedures
  • Experience in adult intensive care units (ICU) and emergency departments (ED), with level 1 trauma exposure
  • Preferred: CPFT or RPFT certification
  • Preferred: Previous pediatric care experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
  • Perform and interpret a broad range of pulmonary function tests
  • Assist with bronchoscopies and ensure optimal patient care throughout the procedure
  • Support and monitor patients requiring ventilator support or airway management, particularly in critical care units
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to address patient needs and optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and results

$2,425 - $2,557/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
