Responsibilities:

• Administer a range of respiratory therapies and interventions per physician orders
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and interpret diagnostic results to tailor care plans
• Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilation and other respiratory equipment
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations and provide critical care, including airway management
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary medical team
• Ensure accurate documentation of treatment, patient response, and compliance with all regulatory standards
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and quality-improvement initiatives
