Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Waxhaw, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions under the direction of healthcare providers
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to develop and modify patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory equipment and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records of all treatments, assessments, and progress
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment and supplies
• Respond efficiently to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention

Desired Qualifications:

• Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in acute or critical care settings preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (if not already obtained, must be acquired upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
