Provide essential respiratory care within a dynamic, supportive clinical environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 pm – 7:30 am shifts
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
  • Proven clinical experience in acute care settings strongly desired
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory therapy interventions, including ventilator management and airway care, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient responses, providing timely and accurate updates to healthcare teams
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment usage, and home care procedures as needed
  • Adhere to infection control standards and participate in emergency code responses
  • Maintain medical equipment, ensuring it is ready, safe, and functioning properly at all times
  • Contribute to a collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered work culture
