Take on an impactful contract opportunity as a key part of a comprehensive healthcare team, providing expert respiratory care to a diverse range of patients across a 492-bed facility. Your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist will be essential in adult general, critical care, and, for those with relevant experience, NICU environments within a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am
- Every other weekend rotation
- Voluntary on-call opportunities
- Holiday coverage: one major and one minor holiday, per policy
- Up to 7 consecutive days off may be approved (per blackout date policy)
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered with minimum 2 years’ experience
- BLS required; NRP required for NICU role; ACLS/APLS preferred
- For first-time travelers: minimum 2 years’ experience and recent Cerner or EPIC EMR experience
- Demonstrated competency in critical care and adult respiratory therapy
- For NICU: at least one year of Level III NICU experience within the past 12 months; ground transport and nitric oxide administration experience highly desired
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care for patients throughout the hospital, including both adult and neonatal units
- Provide critical interventions, manage advanced ventilatory equipment (PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo), and effectively document in Cerner EMR
- NICU therapists may also be assigned to adult patients and handle ground transports as needed
- Participate in orientation (24 hrs classroom, 24 hrs on unit for new/returning clinicians absent 1+ years)

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
