Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, airway care, and administering respiratory treatments
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy procedures for patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas analyses and interpret results
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and assist in resuscitation efforts
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, equipment use, and therapies
• Accurately document all patient care activities and maintain comprehensive records
• Adhere to infection control procedures and facility policies at all times
