Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Winder, Georgia

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Current state license to practice as a respiratory care practitioner
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients based on physician orders and established protocols
• Administer therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to therapy, and clinical observations
• Operate and maintain a variety of respiratory care equipment safely and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and lifestyle adjustments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
