Respiratory Therapist | Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Deliver vital patient care services as an experienced respiratory therapist on a 13-week contract assignment. This role is perfect for qualified professionals ready to support advanced respiratory procedures and testing for a diverse adult and pediatric patient population.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 x 12-hour day shifts each week

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current BLS certification required
• At least one year of hands-on experience with pulmonary function tests (PFT)
• Direct experience in adult ICUs and Emergency Departments (level 1 trauma) is essential
• Demonstrated skill in performing bronchoscopy procedures
• CPFT or RPFT certification preferred
• Previous experience caring for pediatric patients is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret comprehensive pulmonary function tests independently
• Assist with and perform bronchoscopy procedures in accordance with clinical protocols
• Deliver expert respiratory therapy treatments for critically ill adults in ICU and ED settings
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to all hospital policies and relevant regulatory standards for respiratory care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and care provided

$2,425 - $2,557/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
