Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license.
- Certified Professional Patient Safety Specialist (CPPS) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in acute care settings focused on Risk Management and/or Patient Safety.
- At least one year of acute care experience in a California hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify patient safety issues and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze incident reports and investigate adverse events.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
