An opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Case Management to contribute to patient-centered care through utilization review and complex case coordination. This contract position is based in Marietta, GA, supporting chronic condition management and discharge planning within an acute care framework.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Shift: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
  • Rotating weekends (Sunday through Saturday, varying)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex case management efforts, focusing on chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and behavioral health.
  • Perform thorough utilization review and discharge planning to optimize resource use and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Manage cases requiring advanced clinical judgment and coordination.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in utilization review, case management, and discharge planning preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care, or Master’s Degree in Case Management.
  • Complex Case Management Certification highly preferred.
  • Alternative qualification option: Completion of a Master’s degree in Case Management in lieu of minimum RN experience.
  • Strong expertise in managing chronic health conditions, utilization management, and patient advocacy.
