  • Active Delaware Department of Education Instructional Paraprofessional Permit required
  • Solid understanding of ABA concepts and practical experience applying behavioral principles in educational settings
  • Previous work supporting behavioral needs of K-12 students in special education environments strongly preferred
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, effectively managing multiple priorities across elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills for consultation, training, and parent meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school psychologists and staff to design, implement, and evaluate behavior intervention strategies for individual students and classrooms
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and use data collection to inform ongoing decisions
  • Support and model best practices in behavioral intervention for teachers and paraprofessionals
  • Provide crisis intervention support and assistance as needed
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing insight and guidance for individualized planning

This is your chance to shape learning environments and empower fellow educators while advancing your expertise in a supportive, multi-disciplinary setting.
