Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven background as a Behavior Specialist or in a similar role within educational settings
- Strong practical knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies
- Comfortable developing and carrying out individualized behavior intervention plans
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support professionals
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Committed to maintaining ethical and confidential standards in all interactions
- Relevant certification or licensure in behavior analysis or behavioral health (preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavior and develop targeted, data-driven intervention strategies
- Implement positive behavioral supports and monitor student progress
- Train and guide school staff on ABA best practices and classroom management techniques
- Consult with teachers and parents to adjust and optimize behavior management plans
- Document all interventions, observations, and outcomes in a thorough and timely manner
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment for students of varying needs
- Remain current with best practices and trends in behavioral science
