ABA Therapist - Huntington Beach, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Background in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies within a school setting
• Experience as a paraprofessional or aide supporting children with special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and data collection preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one or small group ABA support to students, following prescribed intervention plans
• Assist with classroom instruction, behavior management, and social skills development
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and therapists to ensure consistent student support
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Provide support for daily routines, transitions, and activities both in and out of the classroom
