Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Recent experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly in educational or ABA settings
  • Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and principles
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies under BCBA or teacher guidance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with diverse student needs
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework or relevant certifications preferred
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in classroom and one-on-one support situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers and behavior specialists in executing ABA programs tailored to individual student goals
  • Support students with academic tasks, social skill-building, and daily routines both in and out of the classroom
  • Document daily observations, track progress, and report student achievements or behavioral challenges
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel supported, safe, and encouraged
  • Collaborate closely with faculty and therapy teams to adapt instructional materials and approaches as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of student care
