Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-12 students as a Behavior Specialist. Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Proven experience working as a Behavior Specialist, particularly within schools
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students with varying behavioral profiles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, staff, and students
• Independent, proactive approach—this position requires seasoned professionals as there are no RBTs or behavioral technicians assigned
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and gather data to inform individualized behavioral interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans for multiple students
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to train and model behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines
• Attend IEP or team meetings to contribute behavioral expertise and support planning
• Provide crisis support and de-escalation as needed throughout the school day

This assignment runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, allowing you to establish a regular routine while making a real difference in students’ lives.
