Seeking an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher specializing in Grades K-12 to support students with diverse physical and learning needs. This position offers the opportunity to develop and deliver customized physical education programs within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement adaptive physical education lessons tailored to meet the needs of students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
• Assess students’ physical abilities and modify activities to ensure inclusion and safety.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to integrate physical education goals with overall educational plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular reports.
• Foster a positive environment that promotes physical fitness, social skills, and self-confidence among students with disabilities or special needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in adaptive physical education or related fields.
• Strong understanding of physical and developmental disabilities and appropriate teaching strategies.
• Ability to work with a wide age range: elementary, middle, and high school students.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications or licensure in physical education or special education preferred.
