Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE) - Dallas, Texas

Help students reach their fullest potential by providing essential adaptive physical education services on a very part-time, as-needed basis. This contract opportunity involves supporting learners near Dallas and Fort Worth as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher, delivering in-person support and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

What you bring:

• Current certification in Adaptive Physical Education or related field
• Experience working in school settings with students who have a variety of special needs
• Strong understanding of APE assessment tools and strategies
• Ability to adjust curriculum and activities to support individualized IEP goals

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person adaptive physical education evaluations for students as requested

• Update and monitor student APE goals and maintain accurate documentation
