Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California teaching credential required
- Experience in adaptive or inclusive physical education preferred
- Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver adaptive physical education curriculum tailored to individual student needs
- Assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, specialists, and families to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professionally to student planning
- Advocate for an inclusive, supportive, and engaging physical education environment
