Grades K - 5 Grades 6 - 8 Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE) in Fort Worth, TX

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Positive, flexible approach to teaching and problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver adaptive physical education lessons for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 based on individual needs
• Modify activities and equipment to ensure safety and accessibility
• Collaborate with special education staff and general educators to align with IEP goals
• Monitor student development and maintain accurate progress records
• Promote an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere in all class settings
• Engage with parents and caregivers to support student participation and progress
