What We’re Looking For:

• Certification as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
• Experience delivering adapted PE services in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and the ability to contribute to student plan development
• Comfortable conducting in-person assessments and direct PE sessions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with school teams and families
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Dallas and Fort Worth campuses

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person adaptive physical education evaluations for students across area campuses
• Provide direct, individualized APE sessions to students with unique needs
• Attend IEP meetings as required, offering expertise and updates in adaptive PE
• Update and monitor student progress toward APE goals, ensuring documented growth
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for each learner
• Maintain and manage accurate records and reports per district guidelines
