Requirements and Desired Experience:

• Current certification/licensure as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
• Experience conducting APE evaluations for diverse student populations
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to develop, update, and monitor APE goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with students, teachers, and families
• Availability for in-person work across locations in Dallas and Fort Worth as needed
• Previous experience attending IEP meetings and sharing recommendations
• Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently with a variable part-time schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive, in-person APE evaluations
• Attend scheduled IEP meetings to provide insights and collaborate on student plans
• Develop, update, and report on APE goals in alignment with student needs
