What We’re Looking For:

• Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Certification preferred; must hold at least PE teaching credentials.
• Proven experience or strong interest in working with students requiring adapted PE services.
• Ability to maintain excellent organization and adaptability while serving itinerant roles across 2-3 schools (East or West Bank assignments as determined by district needs).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites as needed.
• Commitment to adhering to all credentialing and compliance requirements, including district-required drug screening and fingerprinting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide adaptive physical education instruction and services aligned with student IEP goals.
• Create individualized programming supporting a diverse caseload, adjusting as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop, implement, and update personalized plans.
• Accurately document student progress and manage timely reporting.
• Adapt and modify activities to ensure accessibility and success for each learner.
