Exciting opportunity to provide a meaningful impact as an Adaptive Physical Education professional supporting middle school students across a dynamic district. This contracted, part-time role will focus on delivering both direct instruction and consultative guidance to ensure every student receives personalized and effective Adaptive PE services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Adaptive Physical Education certification/licensure (as required)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, preferably with middle school students
  • Track record of supporting students with disabilities in physical education environments
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for effective team integration
  • Reliable transportation: travel required between multiple school sites within the district
  • Strong organizational skills and punctual, professional presence
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, fingerprinting, and background/CORI checks
  • Commitment to clear communication around schedule changes or absences

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Adaptive Physical Education services to a determined caseload of middle school students across the district
  • Collaborate with school staff and student teams to customize and monitor differentiated PE programming
  • Provide consultative services to support general education PE instructors and related service providers
  • Maintain documentation and data regarding student progress, attendance, and service delivery
  • Travel to multiple campuses as scheduled, ensuring timely arrival and departure
  • Communicate regularly with school contacts and recruitment staff regarding attendance and schedule adjustments

This position is onsite only, typically 2–2.5 days per week for the 2026/2027 academic year. The application process includes a brief virtual interview via Microsoft Teams.
