Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support academic growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Arizona Department of Education regulations.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain Arizona licensure.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
